受験の合格祈願などで知られ、岩に彫られた観音様の穏やかな表情が特徴です。参道は民家が並ぶ細い坂道となっており、自動車は入口付近の駐車場に停めて歩くか、途中の駐車場を利用するのが便利です。境内にはロウソクやお線香の用意があり、御手洗も設置されています。
