毎月最初の辰の日に「初辰まいり」が行われる、商売繁盛や家内安全の神として親しまれている神社です。境内には樹齢1000年を超える巨大なクスノキがあり、圧倒的な存在感を放っています。参拝の際には、左手と右手の異なる意味を持つ「招福猫」を授かるのが習わしとなっています。
