History
徳川家康が岡崎城内に建立した新田白山社の別当慶安周賀が開山し、天正3年に現在の地に移転して創建した。その後、元禄2年に龍海院の僧石泉孤円によって再興され、龍海院末とされた。昭和20年の岡崎空襲で焼失したが、1985年に鉄筋コンクリート構造の本堂等が再建された。
