地域に根ざした氏神様で、境内には幼稚園があり園児の声が響く賑やかな雰囲気です。本殿前には現代的なコンクリート造りの拝殿があり、迫力ある天井画が保存されています。鳥居から本殿まで見通しが良く開放感があり、左手奥には天神社も併設されています。
