仁王門をくぐって右手に位置する本堂には阿弥陀如来が祀られています。百段ほどの石段を登りきった場所からは、表参道や門前町の街並みを一望できる素晴らしい景色が広がります。御朱印の受付は本堂の右手にあり、静かに参拝できる落ち着いた雰囲気の寺院です。
