香椎宮の境内に位置する摂社で、本殿から少し離れた木々に囲まれた静かで落ち着いた雰囲気が特徴です。力強い社殿があり、巫女さんが掃除をしている姿を見かけることもあります。御朱印は4月限定で本殿にて授与されるほか、近くには名水への入り口もあります。
