When the Arima residence relocated to Aoyama in the first year of the Meiji era (1868 CE), the shrine moved with it, and it was relocated to its current location in the fifth year of the Meiji era (1872 CE).

What visitors say
Many visitors come to pray for safe childbirth. The shrine features barrier-free design and a seismic isolation structure, allowing pregnant women and those with strollers to worship with peace of mind. Despite being surrounded by urban high-rises, the grounds offer a sacred atmosphere where the sky feels open. The reception for prayers and the waiting room are well-organized, creating a space where convenience and traditional faith are harmoniously integrated.
