手水舎は非常に豪華な装飾が施されており、陽明門にも匹敵するきらびやかさがあります。水盤や柱には飛龍や波などの彫刻が施されていますが、現在は使用休止のためロープが張られている場合があります。参拝の際は、門を端から通過する際の作法にも注意を払うと良いでしょう。
