門構えや鐘楼、唐破風の天井に描かれた立体的な龍など、外観や建築の細部に歴史を感じさせる趣があります。山門は周囲より高い場所に位置しており、急階段の下に寺社がある珍しい立地です。檀信徒用の駐車場が2台分あり、周辺には大使館や大学などの施設が点在しています。
