History
The exact date of founding is unknown, but it is estimated to have been established around 1306 CE (Tokuchi 1) based on the inscriptions on the stone stele serving as the sacred object and the death dates of local prominent families. In 1874 CE (Meiji 7), it was designated as a village shrine (sonsha). Records indicate that seven surrounding shrines were merged into it in the early Taisho period, though this is believed not to have actually taken place.
