寺の裏山から金子丘陵へ続くハイキングコースがあり、複数の分岐から様々なルートを歩くことができます。境内は無住の寺院のようで、本堂は閉ざされていますが、高台にある墓地からは金子の集落を見渡すことができます。周辺には駐車場がないため、参拝の際は注意が必要です。
