本堂の横には樹齢400年以上の立派な大銀杏があり、11月末から12月初めにかけて黄色く染まる景観が人気です。境内には墓地があり、地域に密着した静かな雰囲気の寺院です。駐車場は境内にありますが、見頃の時期は混雑が予想されるため、時間帯をずらしての訪問が推奨されます。
