小高い位置にあり、遠くの山々を見渡せる気持ちの良いお寺です。周辺には石垣もあり、城跡らしい趣を感じられます。御朱印や御城印の授与があり、受付の対応は非常に親切で丁寧です。道の駅から徒歩圏内ですが、駐車場へのアクセスには注意が必要です。
