本堂には立派な阿弥陀如来座像があり、徳川家の御位牌や歴史的な家紋が刻まれた屋根瓦などを見学できます。御朱印の受付や、住職による解説、境内にある地蔵尊など、参拝者のための配慮が行き届いています。境内は静かな雰囲気で、道路からも特徴的な屋根が見える大きめのお寺です。
