境内には、殉職した元佐倉藩士の墓と顕彰碑があります。寺の規模は小さく、車は境内に駐車可能です。季節によっては多くの鉢に蓮の花が咲く様子が見られ、お斎の白和えや花まつりの甘茶などの思い出を語る参拝者もいます。
