西國寺の山門から下った場所に位置し、風格漂う立派な造りの寺院です。本堂は巨大な屋根瓦や柱群が特徴的で、天井には華麗な鶴の絵、水盤には頼山陽の揮毫があります。線路の近くのため電車通過時は音がしますが、それ以外は比較的静かな環境です。
