古墳のような形状で規模の大きな塚です。以前は周囲の林が鬱蒼としていましたが、現在は伐採され、すっきりとした景観になっています。初山祭りの子供の守護祈祷の案内や、水害の平癒を願う祈りが込められた社殿の様子が見られます。
