街中にありながら広々とした境内が広がり、山門から上り坂を登った場所に位置しています。弁慶観音像が安置されていますが、常時公開はされておらず、特定の日にのみ開帳されるようです。御朱印の授与があり、寺の隣には無料の広い駐車場も整備されています。
