Highlights include the National Treasure standing statue of Shaka Nyorai (the Buddha), other distinguished cultural properties, a beautiful pond-and-garden landscape, and scenic views of autumn leaves and cherry blossoms. The grounds feature a parking lot, a cafe, and a yudofu (tofu hot pot) restaurant, making it an ideal base for strolls through the nearby bamboo groves and the Okusaga area.
