道から小さな水路を渡って参拝する、静かな雰囲気の寺院です。本堂は以前焼失した後に再建されており、鐘楼堂とともに境内を構成しています。普段は参拝者が少ない落ち着いた環境ですが、永代経や報恩講などの行事は執り行われています。
