児玉三十三霊場の札所として参拝でき、境内は簡素ながらも手入れが行き届いており、清々しい雰囲気です。本堂や庫裡の鬼瓦、芭蕉の句碑が見どころの一つです。御朱印は庫裡で受付されており、別院の長谷観音堂の御朱印も併せて授与されるほか、別院への行き方も案内されています。
