松本駅からも近く、奈良井川沿いの集落に位置する神社です。社殿は比較的新しく立派な造りですが、境内はそれほど広くなく、殺風景な印象を受けることもあります。駐車場は裏側の川沿いにあり、境内を通らずに拝殿へ向かう形となります。境内には石灯籠群や手水舎などの見所があります。
