社叢や鳥居、拝殿は清浄に保たれており、歴史と自然が調和した雰囲気の神社です。正面の階段は急な角度ですが、足腰の弱い方向けに右奥へスロープが設けられています。境内には万葉歌碑があり、正月明けのえびす祭りでは甘酒やぜんざいの振る舞いが行われることもあります。
