狭山丘陵の西端に位置し、鬱蒼とした鳥居をくぐり長い石段を登った先にあります。境内はそれほど広くはありませんが、静まり返った神秘的な雰囲気が特徴です。正面参道右側には未舗装の駐車スペースがあり、周辺にはカタクリの群生地も広がっています。
