周辺の清掃が行き届いており、道が常に綺麗に保たれています。春には見事な桜が咲き、周辺では祭事が行われることもあります。境内には「念ずれば花開く」と刻まれた石碑があり、参拝者の道案内が行われるなど、地域との関わりも深い場所です。
