県道沿いの集落の北側に位置し、少し長い参道を経て境内へ向かいます。水路を渡る神橋や桜門、石灯篭などの設えがあり、怒りの表情をした狛犬が社殿を護っています。地元の方々に大切にされている、筑後地方の様式を反映した落ち着いた雰囲気の神社です。
