境内は整然としており、高台にあるため川俣町の景色を眺めることができます。本堂前には県の緑の文化財にも登録されているエドヒガンザクラの巨木があり、桜の季節の景観が楽しめます。本堂までは車でアクセス可能ですが、道が狭く急な坂道がある箇所があるため注意が必要です。
