金閣寺の庭園内にある安民沢という池の小島に、白蛇を祀る多層の石塔が建っています。塚は池の中にあるため、近くまで寄ることはできませんが、不思議な雰囲気を感じる場所です。庭園の順路に従って進むことで見つけることができます。
