12月中旬には紅葉が美しく、階段を登った先にはお社と石碑が並ぶ境内があります。少し古びた雰囲気はありますが、手入れが行き届いており、管理されている様子が伺えます。旧生駒トンネルの守り神として知られており、周辺の歴史的な環境と結びついた場所です。
