初詣や例大祭、七五三などの行事の際に賑わいを見せる神社です。夏のお祭りでは参道に屋台が並び、境内には鐘があります。宮司は常駐していないため、御朱印の受付は正月や例大祭などの神事の際に宮司が来られるタイミングで行われるのが一般的です。
