The spacious grounds are famous as a spot for autumn foliage, offering seasonal scenery including cherry blossoms, green maple leaves, and seasonal flowers. The imposing main hall, three-storied pagoda, and several distinct gardens allow for a quiet visit. The grounds are crowded during the autumn foliage season, but you can stroll leisurely at other times. Entering from the west side is easier as there is less elevation change.
