特徴的な山門には仁王の代わりに毘沙門天と増長天が祀られており、中国風の趣があります。境内はコンパクトですが、本堂の2階にある観音堂には貴重な仏像が安置されています。芭蕉の句碑もあり、参拝時にはお菓子をいただくなど、温かい対応が受けられる寺院です。
