出雲大社から徒歩数分、静かな雰囲気に包まれた境内には、樹齢1000年以上といわれる巨大なムクノキがそびえ立ち、圧倒的な存在感を放っています。境内には真名井遺跡もあり、生命力を感じる大木と静寂な空間を同時に楽しめます。駐車場は神社の右前にありますが、進入口が狭いため注意が必要です。
