街中にあり、本殿はこじんまりとしていますが境内は広く、子供の遊び場のような雰囲気です。境内には土俵が複数あり、相撲が盛んな地域の特色が感じられます。瓦屋根には小さな狛犬が乗っており、えべっさんの時期には餅ほりが行われるなど、地域の文化に根ざした社です。
