永観堂の入り口となる門で、歴史と禅の趣を感じる荘厳な雰囲気です。秋には門の両側のカエデが色鮮やかに染まり、紅葉の名所として多くの人が写真を撮影します。門のすぐ内側にはチケット売り場があり、周辺はバスでのアクセスも可能です。
