子授けや安産、冤罪を晴らすなどの御利益で知られ、遠方からも参拝者が訪れます。春には見事な桜が咲き、4月の第三土曜日は縁日として賑わいます。寺務所がないため、縁日以外のお札の授与は近隣の商店で行われています。
