境内は杜に囲まれており、鳥居から続く石段を登るとアルミサッシの拝殿が現れます。鳥居付近からは集落や津市中心部を見渡すことができ、静かな環境です。毎年4月と5月には祭礼が行われ、地元の方々が集まる場所となっています。
