境内には樹齢300年を超える見事なカヤの木があり、秋には実が地面を覆い香りが漂う様子が印象的です。白い彼岸花も咲き、趣のある美しい景観が広がっています。本堂横の瑠璃殿には十二神将の像が安置されており、見どころの一つとなっています。
