円覚寺の奥に位置する国宝舎利殿は、年に数回しか公開されないため神聖な空気が漂っています。反り返った裳階やサワラ木葺の屋根など、禅宗様建築特有の凛とした美しさが特徴です。境内には梅の木があり、特別拝観の際は別途拝観料や御朱印の費用が必要になる場合があります。
