坂の途中に位置し、常駐の住職がいないため気兼ねなく参拝できます。境内には土俵があり、相撲大会や獅子舞など地元との繋がりが深い場所です。元旦には甘酒の振る舞いがあるほか、日露戦争の慰霊碑や男女別のトイレも整備されています。
