目の健康を祈願する神社として知られ、境内には目を癒すための御神水があり、専用容器で持ち帰ることも可能です。国道から少し奥まった場所に位置しており、周辺の道が非常に狭いため運転には注意が必要です。山道を進んだ先にある奥の院への道のりも、落ち着いた雰囲気の中で参拝を楽しめます。
