歴史を感じるお堂があり、敷石にはかつて東京の路面電車の軌道敷に使われていたものがあるといいます。庫裏の土間上には隠し部屋があるとの伝承がありますが、内部は非公開です。毎月、写経会やコーラス会などの行事が行われています。
