Suke Shrine

During the Daito era, the deity was enshrined from Kamakura in Sagami Province as a guardian of the entire village, and the shrine was established on the summit of Mount Touzan. In September of the 7th year of the Tensho era (1579 CE), it was relocated to its original site. Subsequently, construction and reconstruction of the shrine buildings and main hall were carried out in the 1st year of the Jōkyō era (1684 CE), the 2nd year of the Genroku era (1689 CE), the 5th year of the Hōei era (1708 CE), the 9th year of the Kyōhō era (1724 CE), the 9th year of the Bunka era (1812 CE), and the 1st year of the Keiō era (1865 CE). In November of the 3rd year of the Shōwa era (1928 CE), the shrine buildings were once again relocated to the mountain ridge to commemorate the Imperial Enthronement.
