造り酒屋の細い路地を入った場所に位置する大きな寺院です。境内には、かつて塩を運ぶ牛を繋ぎ止めるために使われていた「牛つなぎ石」が置かれており、石には手綱が抜け落ちないようくびれが穿たれています。ひっそりと佇む境内の様子や、歴史を感じさせる石の造形が見どころです。
