In 1675, the deity was further moved to its current location, the site of Hanbō Ikyō (also identified as Takijiro Castle). In 1873, the deities of Suwa and Hachiman were merged, and the shrine continues to be enshrined as the prayer shrine of the Iizumi Domain.
