A shrine enshrining Sakuma Shouzan, a thinker of the Bakumatsu (late Edo period). The grounds feature several historical structures, including Takuitei, the residence where Bakumatsu patriots gathered to debate, and the main hall, which is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property.
