A shrine enshrining Sakuma Shouzan, a thinker of the Bakumatsu (late Edo period). The grounds feature several historical structures, including Takuitei, the residence where Bakumatsu patriots gathered to debate, and the main hall, which is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property.

The precincts are lined with bronze statues of Bakumatsu patriots and figures associated with Sakuma Shouzan, offering a compelling glimpse into history. Visitors can enjoy gardens that change with the seasons, a pond called Kokoro no Ike (Pool of the Heart), beautiful torii gates, and relocated buildings scattered throughout the area. Free parking is available, making it convenient to access the surrounding gardens.
