ハイキングコースやツーリングコースの途中に位置し、長い階段を登ると浜名湖や周辺の景色を望むことができます。境内には鳥居や巨石があり、猫を見かけることもあります。駐車場は近くにありませんが、バイクの路肩駐車や、周辺の眺望を楽しめるスポットとして訪れる人が多いようです。
