足羽山に位置するこぢんまりとしたお寺で、周辺はウォーキングコースとして賑わっています。御朱印は色鮮やかで、その日に読まれたお経が書き込まれるため毎日内容が変わるのが特徴です。境内には駐車場がなく、周辺の駐車場を利用して歩いて参拝する人が多いようです。
