仙台駅からバスでアクセス可能な、広大な池泉回遊式庭園を擁する寺院です。三重塔や枯山水などの見どころがあり、特に紅葉の時期は鮮やかな景色を楽しめます。拝観料は300円で、平日は落ち着いて散策できるほか、動きやすい靴での訪問が推奨されています。
