大聖院の奥にある地下室で、天井から吊るされた無数の銅製ランタンが淡い光を放つ神秘的な空間です。室内には四国八十八箇所の本尊が揃っており、各仏像の前のプレートには各寺院の砂が埋められています。階段を登った先にある静かな場所で、お遍路の巡拝の功徳を得られるとされています。
